Created on December 8, 1989, it is located on the island of Usedom, on the Szczecin Lagoon. The reserve is located in the area of special bird protection - Natura 2000 "Delta Świny" and "Zalew Szczeciński". The aim of protection is to preserve the most numerous site of the royal fern and Pomeranian honeysuckle in Western Pomerania, acidophilus oak forest habitat, as well as protected plants and endangered animals:
- broadleaf helleborine
- white-tailed eagle
- bareback
- kingfisher
- gander.
In the northern part of the reserve, there is an educational trail, 4.03 km long, and a viewing point.
