The battery was built in 1938. The command bunker was supposed to be 'battery eyes'. The facility was never fully completed. After the September campaign, the cannons and battery equipment were moved to the island of Tarva in Norway. Currently, the observation tower belongs to the Międzyzdroje Forest District.
